Solar-Powered Futures, At SAPRONIT, we are on a mission to make a positive impact on the environment. By 2030, our ambitious goal is to power 20% of our facilities using solar panels.
Currently, we are already setting an example at our Anzegem (BE) plant. More than 2,200 solar panels provide continuous energy throughout the year, showcasing our dedication to clean and renewable energy sources.
This initiative not only reduces our carbon footprint but also highlights our commitment to sustainability.

SAPRONIT manufactures and processes polyethylene foams, which serve as the basis for numerous technical packaging solutions.
Proud to be a sustainable leader in our field, we’ve been committed to the cause from our very beginnings. From launching our world-first 100% recyclable padded bag to developing
a group-wide waste-free cradle-to-cradle’ approach, sustainability is at the heart of every decision we make.
So how exactly do we do what we do, sustainably?
Because we’re 100% committed to what we call our ‘circular economy’ and ‘cradle-to-cradle’ products – which basically means that none of our waste ends up in the incinerator or landfill. In fact, we have no waste. Everything is reused. And we do this in two main ways.
